Colter Ellis - Midway's Cowboy

Colter Ellis was born in Wyoming and raised on several different guest ranches. His parents got me into rodeo when he was six and started hauling him to junior rodeos. Colter also produces rodeos as an announcer and sound director through my company, Ellis Rodeo Productions. With Ellis Rodeo Productions, he travels the world running music and announcing at rodeos from Wyoming to Australia. Colter has done production for over 500 rodeos and possess over seven years of experience. In the summers, he lives in Cody, Wyoming, and work several jobs, including Announcer for the Cody Nite Rodeo, Bunkhouse Foreman for the Cody Cowboy Church.

Outside of rodeo, Colter has a deep passion for skiing and work as a professional ski instructor through PSIA (Professional Ski Instructors of America). I was the youngest Freestyle Level two certified instructor in the ski industry and have been featured in Freeskier Magazine (November 2019). Colter works at Sleeping Giant Ski Area for the past six seasons as an instructor, freestyle coach, and Assistant Ski School Director. When Colter is not roping or skiing, he spends time getting closer to God, being with family and friends, and enjoying the outdoors.
